Robert Lee London

Mr. Robert Lee London age 86 of Cleveland. Mr. London passed away Wednesday, March 04, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. London was born in Habersham County to the late Frank and Lola Smith London. Mr. London was a veteran serving in the Army during WWII. He received the silver star, bronze star, and purple heart during his time of service. He was a carpenter and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Martha London, Cleveland; Sons and Daughters in law Garrison and Nita London, Jesup; Jerry and Cynthia London, Cleveland; Michael and Georgia London, Cleveland; Brother and Sister in law Marvin and Edith London, Habersham County; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Friday in Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gary Hefner will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
