Robert "Corky" Stover

Mr. Robert "Corky" Stover, age 79, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2010 at Northeast GA Medical Center. Mr. Stover was born in White County on November 10, 1931 to the late Alford and Kitty Dorsey Stover. He was also preceded in death by his son, Charles Andy Stover, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers. Mr. Stover was veteran serving in The United States Navy during the Korean War. He was retired from Talon and of the Methodist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Emogene Stover, Cleveland; son, Carroll Stover, Cleveland; granddaughter, Tiffany Brookshire, Cornelia; grandson, Daniel Stover, Cleveland; great granddaughters, Ashlyn and Courtney Miller, Cornelia; sister, Mary Parker, Charlotte, NC. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Tuesday in The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson and Mr. Rodney Clark will officiate. Interment will follow in Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
