Robert Harold Taylor

Robert Harold Taylor Sr. 91 of Sautee Ga. passed away on Thursday Feb. 29, 2024. Born in Winnfield, Louisiana on Dec. 30, 1932, He was the son of late Maurice Taylor and Edith Blanton Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Robert Derrick Taylor. Robert proudly served his country serving in the Army. He then went to the Citadel where he earned his degree in Civil Engineering and as a registered land surveyor. He worked with many companies over his career. Survivors include his wife Marcene Taylor of Sautee; children, Robert Taylor of Perry Fl., William Taylor of New Smyrna Beach Fl., Scott Miller of Lebanon Pa. Survivors also include his grandson Adam Taylor of Augusta S.C., his sister, Annette Greene of Tallahassee Fl. Brother-in-law, Ed Cooke and wife Jan of New Enterprise Pa. He had a special place in our hearts for everyone who knew and loved him. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.
