Rodney Chad Shepherd

Mr. Rodney Chad Shepherd, age 36 of Helen, passed away Sunday September 12, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Shepherd was born October 7, 1973 in Demorest to George and Pat Westmoreland Shepherd. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Wilma Westmoreland, Garland and Hazel Shepherd, brother, Jason Shepherd. Survivors include his father, George Shepherd, Cleveland; mother, Pat Shepherd, Cleveland; companion, Angie Allison, Helen; daughter, Cheyenne Shepherd, Helen; son, Rylie Shepherd, Helen; step-son, John Chambers, Helen; daughter, Jordan Shepherd, Mineral Bluff; son, Grant Shepherd, Mineral Bluff. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, September 17, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnny Johnson and Rev. Hoyt Winkler will officiate. Interment will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
