Rodney Scott Vanderstelt

Rodney Scott Vanderstelt, age 57 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at his residence.   Rodney “Rod” Vanderstelt was born on January 26, 1960 to Ronald and Lois Vanderstelt. Rod worked a majority of his life as a Steel Tech for Nucor Steel and was currently employed by Dennis Ivey Electric. Rod was a dedicated hard worker and loving man to his family. Rod attended Bean Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Rod was preceded in death by his infant son, Adrian Vanderstelt and brother, Eric Vanderstelt.   Survivors include his son, Dalton Vanderstelt, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Britny and Chase Trammell, Cleveland; daughter, Jasmine Vanderstelt, Cleveland; wife, L. Renee Vanderstelt; grandchildren, Jaxyn Vanderstelt and Kailyn Trammell; parents, Ronald and Lois Vanderstelt, South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Jim Maass, South Carolina; father-in-law, Richard Showalter, Helen.   Private memorial services will be held.   In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Home With a Heart – 220 James Mattison Road, Liberty, SC 29657.   Online condolences can be made to the family at www.barrettfh.com   Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland.
