Ronald Stanley Cozens

Ronald Stanley Cozens, age 85, of Cleveland, Ga, died in his sleep the morning of November 3, 2008. Mr. Cozens was born October 4, 1923 in Deal Kent, England to Arthur and Eleanor Cozens. He served in the Royal Navy from 1940-1945. Mr. Cozens met and married Charlotte Compton of Comer, Ga in March 1944 in Charleston, SC. He retired as Chief Engineer at Egelston Children’s Hospital in 1985 and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Charlotte Cozens; children, Vicki, George and Ruth; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister, Joyce of High Wycombe Bucks, England; brother, Leslie of Deal Kent England. Funeral services will be held at 10;30 a.m. Thursday November 6, 2008 from First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Dr. Robert Massey and Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Garden, 3000 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Ga at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
