Ronald "Ron" Boyd Runkle

Mr. Ronald “Ron” Boyd Runkle, age 62 of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Ron was born in Sewickley, PA on February 14, 1962 to the late Ralph Runkle and Christine Snell Runkle. He was a retired retail manager for Home Depot and was a member of Clarkesville First Methodist Church. In addition to his father Ralph Runkle, Ron is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger Lee Berryman, grandparents, Talford and Irene Runkle and John and Mary Snell Sr. as well as his aunt and uncle Jack and Lila Runkle. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Julia Berryman Runkle, Cleveland; daughter, Megan Runkle, Cleveland; sons, Matthew Runkle (Caroline), Gainesville; Kevin Runkle, Cleveland; Derrick Runkle (Lindsey) of Cleveland; grandson, Mason Lee Runkle; mother, Christine Snell Runkle, Cleveland; brother, David Todd Runkle, Whittier, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Berryman; brothers in law and sisters in law are Amy and Ro Kinson, Doug and Andrea Berryman as well as Nancy and Dan Truhan. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Clarkesville First Methodist Church with Rev. Stacy Dyer officiating. A visitation for Ron will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4 to 6pm at Barrett Funeral Home.
