Roy Lee Abernathy

Roy Lee Abernathy, age 77 of Helen, passed away on November 3, 2025.

Mr. Abernathy was born on March 16th, 1948, in Cleveland, Georgia to the late James Caffus Abernathy and Bonnie Beatrice Dean Abernathy. He was a self-employed carpenter. Roy was preceded in death by several family members.

Survivors include his daughter, Cassie Abernathy, Carrie Moore (Colby); son, Scott Abernathy (Tonya); companion, Percy Spencer, also known as his “better half.”

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 7, 2025.
