Roy Arthur Carr

Roy A. Carr, age 38 of Dahlonega, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Mr. Carr was born January 1, 1978 in Clare, MI to Roy “Ed” Carr and Linda Smith Carr. Roy was a self-employed construction worker and a member of Center Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Carr, Dahlongea; sons, Clayton Carr, Jacob Carr, both of Cleveland; Matthew Steinberg, Wyatt Steinberg, both of Dahlonega; father and mother, Roy “Ed” Carr and Linda Carr, Cleveland; brothers, Jason Carr, Bethlehem; Tim Carr, Cleveland; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Smith, Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. Marty Dunkerly will officiate.
