Roy G Martin

Mr. Roy Grover Martin, age 60 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Martin was born on September 8, 1946 in Banks County to the late Vance and Susie Mae Gowder Martin. Mr. Martin was also preceded in death by a brother Broadus Martin. He was a mechanic and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife: Joan Davis Martin, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law: Annette and Charlie Bryson, Cleveland; daughters: Tonya Martin, Cleveland and Teresa Perry, Baxley; son: Greg Martin, Toccoa; brothers: Boyce Martin, Baldwin and Brannon Martin, Homer; grandchildren: Ashley Morgan Bryson, Kayla Martin, Joey Brown, Gregory Martin, Nicki Martin, Gala Martin, Cody Perry, and Caleb Perry. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from Shoal Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev Milton Harris and Rev. Loyd Martin at graveside. Interment will following in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-9 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
