Russell Jeffrey Reynolds, Sr.

Russell Jeffrey Reynolds, Sr., age 88, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Mr. Reynolds was born on September 30, 1933, in Rockford, Illinois, to the late Joseph and Mary Belle Satterfield Reynolds. He was a retired firefighter from Dekalb County Fire Services and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, Georgia. In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mildred Smith Reynolds. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Betty Reynolds, Cleveland; sons, Russell Reynolds, Jr., Clermont, Joe Reynolds, Cleveland, and Tim Samples, Missouri; daughter, Linda Wagers, Alberton, Georgia; sisters, Millie Boyce, Rockford, Illinois, and Jane Payton, Woodstock, Georgia; 5 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 7, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Dr. Charles Blackstock will officiate.
