Ruth Irene Rogers

Ruth Irene Rogers, age 82, of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Mrs. Rogers was born on May 24, 1942, in Habersham County, to the late Lance and Beulah Darnell Murphy. She was a homemaker and a member of County Line Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rogers; and sister, Marie Stover. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Kirk Williamson; grandchildren, Paige (Shane) Doster and Noah (Lauren) Williamson; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Sutton and Saylor Doster; sister, Guynethal Deckle. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Matt Stowers will officiate. Interment will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
