Ruth Vaughn

Mrs. Ruth Vaughn, age 100, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. Mrs. Vaughn was born in Habersham County to the late Claude and Effie Flanagan Turpin. She was a graduate of Cornelia High School, Perry Business School, and Dekalb College. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora Vaughn, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors include nieces, Vickie Deal and Heather Pegram; nephews, Charles Vaughn and Johnny Caudell, and their families. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from The Chapel at Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Interment will follow at Level Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday before the service at the funeral home.
