Mr. Brashear was born in Tampa, FL to the late Sampson Brashear and Ruth Van Saun Brashear. Sam was a former agriculture teacher in the state of Florida. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Brashear. Survivors include his sons, Kevin Brashear, Longwood, FL; Kenneth Brashear, Altamonte Springs, FL; brother, Robert Brashear, Lutz, FL; sister, Susan Andry, Roebuck, SC; grandchildren, Bryce Brashear, Grace Brashear, James Brashear; partner, Lori Warren, Demorest. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2020 at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
