Sara Jones Davis

Sara Jones Davis, age 88 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born April 29, 1927 in Columbus, GA to the late Ezekiel Candler Jones and Mary Ruth Post Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Davis, sisters, Betty Eberhard and Ruth Knutson. Mrs. Davis was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and was a Stephen minister. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Ruth Moreland, Cleveland; granddaughter, Sara Katherine Moreland, Winter Haven, FL.; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara Jones Hiers and Jim Hiers, Cleveland; Patsy Jones Smith and Gene Smith, Atlanta. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday November 6, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church in Cleveland. The Rev. Greg Eberhard and Rev. Andy Chambers will officiate.
