Sara Bell Revell

Mrs. Sara Bell Revell, age 76 of Helen, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Mrs. Revell was born in Louisville, KY on February 16, 1933 to the late Walter and Dorothy Haney Bell. Mrs. Revell and her husband owned and operated Tanglewood Cabins from 1983 until 2001. She was a member of White County Chamber of Commerce and the Helen Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include: husband of 56 years: Bob Revell, Helen; daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy & Gary Richards, Miami, FL; Robyn & Gary Addison, Sautee-Nacoochee; daughter: Sharon McConnell, Miami, FL; son and daughter-in-law: Curtis & Bridget Revell, Hiawassee; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from the Barrett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hester and Dr. Jimmy Hope officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 on Saturday at the funeral home.
