Sarah Ann (Sally) Roche September 1963 – June 2022 Sally Roche, 58, of Sautee-Nachoochee, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born September 8,1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Beaven and Katherine Roche. She moved with her family to Sautee in May 1970. Sally was a 1981 honor graduate of White County High School. She graduated from Piedmont College with a bachelor’s degree in Education. Sally was the owner of Katherine’s Corner, a retail store in Helen, Georgia. She ruled the roost, never met a stranger, loved the beach, was proud of her Irish heritage, and kept us laughing with all her adventures. Sally adored her six nephews and one niece. And they loved her better than their parents because she was the “fun aunt.” Sally is survived by four sisters, one brother, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and their families. There will be a private service Thursday, June 30th at the family cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit at the home of John Roche, 1098 Hwy 255 N, Sautee, Georgia, on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm. “May you always walk in the sunshine. May you never want for more.
