Sarah Ann Hamilton

Sarah Ann Hamilton, age 74, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Mrs. Hamilton was born on January 28, 1951, to the late Howard and Dessie Reece Lance. She was a retired nutritionist at Kemp Elementary School. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Hamilton; brothers, Jerry Lance and Donald Lance. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Carl Stainbrook; son, William Hamilton; grandson, Eric Stainbrook; nieces, Sherry Allen and Debbie Moler. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 2, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
