Scott Odom

Scott Odom, age 49, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Mr. Odom was born on January 20, 1975, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Tony and Verna Odom. Scott loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and was a member of Gospel Assembly Church. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Vanessa Griffin Odom, Cleveland; daughter, Katherine Anne Widdows (Jarod), Cleveland; parents, Tony and Verna Odom, Richland, Mississippi; sister, Tonya Hester (Don), Pearl, Mississippi; brother, Bryan Odom (Denise), Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Nina Griffin, Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Gospel Assembly Church, 3804 Mt. Vernon Road, Gainesville, Georgia, 30506. The Rev. Heath Modisette will officiate.
