Sharon Anita Hicks

Sharon Anita Hicks, age 55 of Demorest, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Mrs. Hicks was born on February 7, 1964, in Commerce, Georgia, to Marie Wiley Loggins and the late Jimmy McDuffie. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Hicks; brother, Ricky McDuffie. Survivors include her daughter, Lacey Hicks, Demorest; mother and step-father, Marie and George Loggins, Demorest; grandchildren, Donnie Allison and Jill Hicks; sisters, Tina Howard, Rita Smith, and Regina Warren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
