Shelton Barnett Merritt

Shelton Merritt III, age 69, of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away on Monday, September 30th, 2019.    He was born on September 9th, 1950 and is survived by his mother, Maryalice Sly and two sisters, Jo Cedola and Judith Gessleman. Shelton worked as a police officer and homicide detective in Miami-Dade for over twenty years and retired to a peaceful cabin in Georgia.
