Shirley Deloris Jones

Shirley Deloris Jones, age 88, of Clermont, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Mrs. Jones was born on October 19, 1937, in Hall County, to the late Herchel and Myrtle Rogers Hulsey. She was a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Jones; brothers, James, Rondal, Rogers; sisters, Vera, Edith, Doris, Shirley, Janice.

Survivors include her daughter and husband, Janet L. Jones and Daniel A. Kinnier, Jefferson; son and wife, James and Charlotte Jones, Commerce.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 18, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Donnie Wilkes will officiate. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 18, 2026, at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
