Stanley Bryson

Stanley Wade Bryson, age 68, of Clermont, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Mr. Bryson was born on October 19, 1957, in Barrow County, to Elizabeth Dyer Bryson and the late John Joe Bryson. He worked in logging and sawmilling. In addition to his father, Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Earlleen Reese; and brothers, Johnny Bryson and Tranis Bryson.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Dusty Bryson; son, Joey Bryson; daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Cody Franklin; grandchildren, Kaylee Bonds, Brady Shirley, Zackary Higgins, Katlynn Adams, Choley Bryson, Easton Bryson, Sophie Arrowood, Ryan Arrowood, and Jaxon Arrowood; great-grandchild, Bentlee “Kai” Bonds; mother, Elizabeth Bryson; brothers and sisters, Calvin and Patti Bryson; Judy and Jacky Wilson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 6, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Dyer will officiate. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
