Stanley Joel Helton

Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Stanley Joel Helton, age 63, of Cleveland, GA, who passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Heritage Health in LaFayette, Georgia. Mr. Helton was born in Habersham County to the late Grady and Juanita Helton. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and served in the Army National Guard. Survivors include wife, Janelle Helton, Cleveland; brothers and sisters in law, Billy and Betty Helton, and Bobby and Nell Helton, all of Cleveland; sister, Shirley Jones, Dahlonega; sister and brother in law, Deborah and Tommy Bond, Cleveland; step-daughters, Tilatha McCoskey, Clarkesville, and Janice Keeler, Homer; step-son, James Ford, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. A private family service will take place. Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland.
