Stephen Barnes Halvorson

Mr. Stephen Barnes Halvorson, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Williston, North Dakota on August 20, 1927, he was the son of the late Harvey and Mildred Barnes Halvorson. Mr. Halvorson was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a retired Financial Engineer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Halvorson was preceded in death by his grandson, Nicholas Halvorson. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Kvern Halvorson, Cleveland; sons, Robin K. Halvorson, San Antonio, TX; Jeffrey G. Halvorson, Hampton Roads, VA; daughters, Dena M. Rauch, Emmett, Idaho; Wendy G. Halvorson, Doraville, GA; Teresa Fox, Atlanta, GA; Heather Halvorson, Duluth, GA; half-sisters, Sheila Cawvey, Lois Brown, Nita Whyte, Joy Hartsock, Claudia Spielbush, 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
