Stephen Turner

Stephen Coolidge Turner, age 69, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 after an extended illness. Mr. Turner was born August 18, 1949 in White County to the late Vernon Turner and Elene Canup Turner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings; Larry and Pam Turner. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Rusty Grizzle of Dahlonega; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Cale Phillips of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Andrew Skelton of Richmond, KY; and son, Michael Turner of Richmond, KY. Surviving grandchildren include granddaughter and husband Kayla and Curtis Davis of Murrayville; granddaughters: Karlie Grizzle of Dahlonega, Amber Phillips of Dawsonville, Karie Skelton of Richmond, KY, Paige Skelton of Richmond, KY, and Rylee Skelton of Richmond, KY; grandson Nate Grizzle of Dahlonega; and great granddaughter, Emorie Davis of Murrayville. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 prior to the service.
