Stephen Blaine Williams, Sr.

Stephen Blaine Williams Sr., 74, of Cleveland passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a short battle with lung cancer. While he leaves behind countless broken hearts and will be missed tremendously, we have comfort knowing that he and his wife Mary are finally back together, forever. Born in Monett, MO he was the son of the late Carl Blaine Williams and Wilma Norein Shepard-Williams. Steve was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and always had a sense of humor, even in the toughest of times. He loved watching old western shows, cooking out, spending time with family and most of all going to casinos! He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and was one of the sweetest men you’d ever meet. He was preceded in death by his parents (above), wife Mary McClain Williams, great granddaughter Brooklynn I’Ayda Shyann Creekmore & grandson Austin Holcombe. He is survived by his children, Melissa Venza of Cumming GA, Stephen Blaine Williams, Jr. of Loganville, GA, Chris Holcombe of Cleveland, GA & Davida Gunn of Toccoa & brother Mike White of Odessa, MO; grandchildren, Josh Venza, Devin & Brook Cantrell, Blaine, Brent, Bristol & Nevaeh Williams, Landon Holcombe and great-grandchildren Aydon, Ayda and Forrest Creekmore.
