Steven Wayne Geiger

Mr. Steven Wayne Geiger, age 57 of Helen, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 at his residence following a sudden illness. Born in Kanawha County, West Virginia on July 03, 1949 he was the son of late Peggy June Wood Geiger. Mr. Geiger was a Veteran of Vietnam serving in the U.S. Air Force, was the owner of The Wildewood Shop in Helen and was an accordion player. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Geiger and attended the Riverside Worship Center. Survivors include his parents, Paul and Mary Beth Geiger, Farmers Branch, TX; daughter, Chobe Geiger and her mother, Michelle Rougie, both of France; grandson, Christian Geiger, daughter-in-law, Shelly Geiger, both of Clarkesville; brother, Doug Geiger, Sachse, TX; aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Riverside Worship Center. Pastor Joyce Gowder will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family also wishes to invite all friends to join them as their guests for lunch at the Old Bavaria Inn after the graveside service for visitation and fellowship.
