Stevie F. Tomlin

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday January 7, 2007 at New Bridge Baptist Church for Mr. Stevie Tomlin age 48 of Cleveland. The Rev. W.A. Jenkins and the Rev. Chris Alexander will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Church at 1:30 P.M. Mr. Tomlin passed away Saturday January 6, 2007 at his residence following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Tomlin was born in Habersham County and lived in White County all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid Dale Earnhardt fan who enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bunk and Lucille Tomlin , maternal grandparents, Garnett and Mazie Smith and brother, brother, Stacy Tomlin. Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Dustin and C.J. Tomlin, Cleveland; grandson, Lukas Tomlin, Cleveland; parents, L.C. and Louise Tomlin, Cleveland; Finance’, Janice Garrett, Cleveland; sisters and brothers in law, Pam and Randy Irvin, Renee and Jeff Davis, all of Cleveland; sister, Teresa Herbert, Cleveland; niece, Amanda Chapell, Cleveland; nephews, Ranzie Irvin, Kent Davis, both of Cleveland; God daughters, Janna Trigg, Jennifer Tompkins, both of Dahlonega; and a host of other relatives and his constant companion, his dog Buddy.
