Sue Brown Westmoreland

Mrs. Sue Brown Westmoreland age 93 of Sautee Nacoochee passed away Friday March 26, 2010 at a personal care home following an extended illness. Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Towns County the daughter of the late John and Maude McKinney Brown. She moved to White County early in life and was married for 72 years to John Knox Westmoreland who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Charles J. Westmoreland, brothers, Forrest, Willis and Warren Brown, sister, Bonnie Blackburn. She was a member of Nacoochee Presbyterian Church and a former employee of Orbit Manufacturing in Helen. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Doris and Harold Turner, Cleveland; son, Johnny Westmoreland, Sautee Nacoochee; granddaughter, Sherri Turner, Cleveland; grandson and wife, Terry and Kim Westmoreland, Sautee Nacoochee; great grandson and wife, Will and Tara Loudermilk, Cleveland; great great granddaughter, Emma Loudermilk, Cleveland; sister in law, Lois Brown, Cleveland; special friend, Sara Fain, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday March 28, 2010 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Prim and the Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
