Susan Meaders

Susan Lee Meaders, age 62, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Mrs. Meaders was born on December 30, 1963, in Orlando, Florida, to the late Tom and Lynda Black Lunsford. She enjoyed working with children in the school system, spending time with her grandson, and going to the beach. Susan attended First Baptist Church of Cleveland during the early years. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Meaders; and father-in-law, Jack Meaders.

Survivors include her son and his fiancé, Greg Meaders and Anna Cherry; daughter and her significant other, Kalyn Meaders and Taylor Pugh; grandson, Clark Porter; siblings, Sherry and CJ Couch, and Sonja McGuire and Eddie Black; mother-in-law, Jessie Meaders; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner and Ms. Sherry Couch will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
