Susan Trotter Rogers

Susan Trotter Rogers, age 85, of LaCombe, Louisianna, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

Susan, a true Southern lady, was born on July 17, 1941, in Fulton County, to the late Conyard and Sarah Puckett Trotter. She was best known as a homemaker and a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Chester Rogers, Sr.; and sister, Sandra Philips.

Survivors include her son, Joel Rogers, Jr. (Lara); daughter, Rita McCollum (Chris); brother, Bill Trotter (Mildred); grandchildren, Thomas Rogers, Noah Rogers (Erika), Sarah Rogers, Dakota McCollum, Bailey McCollum, Brooklyn McCollum, and Dixon McCollum; and two adorable great-granddaughters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 2, 2026, at Cleveland First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Turner and the Rev. Tim Barrett will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. Monday at Cleveland First Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service.
