Mrs. Teri (Teddy) Whitmire Usher, age 49 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday November 18, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Usher was born in New Jersey and had lived in Habersham and White Counties most of her life. She was a member of Yonah Art Guild and Crosswalk Baptist Church.
Mrs. Usher was a Detention Officer at the White County Jail.
Survivors include husband: Bill Usher, Cleveland; daughters: Jessica Landon, Jesup; Allison Mullinax, Alto; Abigale Davis, Cleveland; Deana Cox, Gulfport, MS; sons: Tommy Usher and David Usher both of Cleveland; father and step mother: Gerald and Leasie Whitmire, Clarkesville; mother, Catherine Lawyer Ferguson, Gloucester, NC; sisters: Sherry Orcutt, Gloucester, NC; Dee Evans, Clarkesville and Beth Medler, Millington, TN; step sister, Denise Carey, Baldwin; step brother, Steve Lewellen, Baldwin; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn and Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate.
Interment will follow in the White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
