Terry Doughty

Terry L. Doughty, age 63 of Sugar Hill, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Terry was born on March 6, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carmela Jenkins and brother, Francis Long. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Robert “Bob” Doughty of Sugar Hill, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Iris Gavin of Castle Rock, Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Chris Canon of Suwanee, Georgia; grandchildren, Atreyu Gavin, Halem Gavin, Arianna Canon, Dominick Canon, and Rosalie Canon, along with brothers, Daniel Long, and Wendell Jenkins. A memorial service is scheduled for 1PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Brandon Hester and Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11AM – 1PM prior to the service.
