Thelma Etris

Thelma Rose Etris, age 90 of Gainesville, Ga passed away Thursday June 24th, 2021. Thelma was born on June 23rd, 1931 to the late Dave Holloway and Viola Dockery Holloway. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Etris, and sisters, Lee Mann and Nellie Eaton. Ms. Etris is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Carlos and Lena Etris of Dahlonega, and Dean and Vivian Etris of Gainesville, grandchildren, Dusty and Naomi Etris of Dawsonville, and Nathan Etris along with great grandchildren Isaac, Sydney, and Liam Etris. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30PM, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chad Parham will officiate. Interment will follow at Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm- 3:30pm prior to the service.
