Theresa Born

Theresa Born (Seabolt), age 82, of Cleveland, passed peacefully on April 19, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 4, 1943, in Dahlonega.

Theresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was baptized on February 18, 1978, and served her church for many years, including as head deaconess. She was a beautician and homemaker who lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and deep faith in God.

She married her beloved husband, William Born, on July 4, 1964, and together they shared over 60 years of love, family, and travel. Theresa enjoyed painting, pottery, traveling, and spending time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and created many cherished memories playing games and supporting her daughters in their activities.

She is survived by her husband, William Born; daughters, Marsha and Deborah; grandchildren, Christie, Josh, Cassie, Trenton, Will, and Benjamin; great-grandchild, Holden; and siblings, Sandra, Kay, Pam, and Rex. She was preceded in death by her mother, Effie Satterfield; stepfather, Leon Satterfield; and father, Amos Seabolt.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Cleveland Seventh-day Adventist Church, 367 Church St. Cleveland, GA 30528. Pastor Mark Waters and Pastor Truitt Franklin will officiate.
