Thermon Balous Crane

Mr. Thermon Balous Crane age 76 of Cleveland passed away Monday January 7, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Crane was born in Hall County, Georgia on May 22, 1931 the son of the late Barney John Crane and Mary Jessie Truelove Crane. He was a Master Seargent with the U.S. Air Force, served in the Korean Conflict, and was also a member of the American Legion, Roy Head Post #7. Mr. Crane was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Crain. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bobbie Sosebee Crane, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Randall Bales, Clermont, Linda and Eric George, Orlando, FL., Maria and Ray Taylor, Murrayville, Lisa and Kevin Young, Winder; sisters, Bonnie Wehunt, Nora Lee Thomas, both of Gainesville; grandchildren, Alicia Walden, Chris Walden, both of Orlando, FL. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2007 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ross Sparks and the Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens in Cleveland. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
