Thomas Elton Hogan

Thomas Elton Hogan, age 55 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Mr. Hogan was born July 17, 1961 in Demorest to the late Thomas Hoyt Hogan and Ellabe Collins Hogan. Elton was a saw miller for Hogan Lumber Company and was preceded in death by his brother Buddy Ray Hogan. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hogan, Mt. Airy; daughter Jannina Hogan; sons, Jeremy Chase Hogan; Joshua Hogan; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Beth Lange and Sean Lange; grandchildren, Keely Paige Hogan, Tristan Cantrell, Skylar Voss, Scarlett Lange, Shannon Hogan; sisters, Cathy Garrett, Linda Collins, Pat Hunt, Wanda Hogan Gibson; brother, Junior Simmons. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
