Thomas Ray Pitchford

Mr. Thomas Ray Pitchford, age 91 of Cleveland passed away Friday, August 08, 2008 at his residence follow a sudden illness. Mr. Pitchford was born in Hall County on September 22, 1916. He was preceded in death by his wifes Monteen Pitchford and Mildred Knight Pitchford. Mr. Pitchford was a farmer all his life and was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1. Survivors include: son and daughter in law: Tommy and Shirley Pitchford, Brookton; step-children: Dr. William & Karen Knight, Buford; Barbara K. & Johnny Martin, Gainesville; Vivian K. & Doug Amos, Cleveland; grandchildren: Sharon Roper, Lake Charles, LA; Richard Pitchford, Brookton; Deborah and David Brito, Buford; step-grandchildren: Tim & Marie Merck Sundi & Ricky Dyer, Lori & Lowell Whitmire; David Knight, Lisa & Sal Giavatto, Melanie Martin, Stephanie Martin, Chris Amos and Pamela A. Walden; great-grandchildren: Brandon & Christy Haney, Shonda Haney, Thomas Brito, Scarlet Brito and Samantha Brito; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister: Oma Holland, Gainesville. Services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Barrett Chapel with the Rev. Dave Fortner and Dr. Don Pruitt officiating with burial to follow in Dewberry Baptist Church #1 cemetery.
