Thomas Marion Walden Sr.

Mr. Thomas Marion Walden Jr. age 84 of Lula passed away Saturday March 10, 2007 at Northeast Ga Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Walden was born in Jackson County the son of the late Thomas M. Walden Sr. and Hattie Clark Walden. He was preceded in death by a brother, Spencer Walden, sisters, Annie Bell Motes and Sarah Rogers. Mr. Walden was a Veteran of World War 11 serving in the United States Navy and was a member of Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Cagle Walden, Lula: brothers, Harold Walden, Clermont, L.B. Walden, Lula, Louis Walden, Gainesville, Hugh Walden, Homer; sisters, Hattie Walden, Loraine Savage, both of Clermont, Louise Pierce, Gainesville; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday March 12, 2007 at Skitts Mountain Baptist Church. The Rev. Kyle Savage, the Rev. Bill Lawson and the Rev. Scott Strickland will officiate.
