Tom Henderson

Tom Henderson, age 77, of Sautee, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Mr. Henderson was born on March 7, 1946, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late John Conley Henderson and Margaret Murray Henderson. He retired from Fieldale, where he worked as a computer programmer and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his grandson, Caleb Williams; and brother-in-law, Gilbert Paul. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Janie Nichols Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Nicole Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Michael Williams; grandchildren, Alayna Lauck, Sarah Henderson, Brooks Henderson, Jonah Henderson, Silas Henderson, Eden Henderson, Malachi Henderson, and Conley Barron; great-grandson, Leo Shepard; sister, Jean Paul; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and special friends also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Providence Baptist Church in Batesville, Georgia. Dr. Don Drawdy will officiate. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
