Tommie Thomas

Mr. Tommie T. Thomas age 94 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Habersham Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Thomas was born in Blairsville, GA the son of the late Gus and Flossie Norton Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Thomas and daughter, Linda Lovell. Mr. Thomas was a World War 11 Veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters and sons in law, Vivian and Jerry Thomas, Wanda and Charles Trotter, all of Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Danny and Debbie Thomas; son, David Thomas, Cleveland; brother, Floyd Thomas, Dawsonville; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; caregiver, Lisa Hall, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate. Interment will be at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
