Tommy Wike Chambers

Mrs. Tommy Kate Chambers, age 86 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Chambers was born February 27, 1924 in Cleveland to the late Fredrick and Ada Black Wike. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Christian Church. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haskell Chambers, sisters Ossie Belle Alexander and Maver Hall. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Elizabeth Chambers, Marietta; Dennis and Nichola Chambers, Gainesville; sisters, Freddie Wade, Iva Lee Wike, and Eddy Jackson, all of Cleveland; Winnie Winter, Oakwood; grandchildren, Kyle Chambers, Gainesville; Natalie Millican, Hoschton; Sara Chambers, Seth Chambers, both of Marietta; caregiver, Penny Mote, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Verner London will officiate.
