Tony Nicely

Tony Demetrius Nicely, age 56, of Cleveland, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Mr. Nicely was born on February 11, 1970, in Habersham County, to Oscar Mayfield and the late Mary Frances Nicely. Tony will be remembered as the uncle of all uncles. He helped raise the kids in his family and the family wants to thank God for the brother that he was. Tony was a believer in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was the best cook.

Survivors include his daughter, Tori Nicely; grandson, Josiah Nicely; siblings, Shalanda Fleming, Grace Henley, Oscar Mayfield, Jr., Lebron Nicely, Tonia Nicely Huff (Larry), Lamont Mayfield, Mia Lee, and James Brown; nieces and nephews, Shalinda Gerrell, Shaniqua Few, Demetrius Fleming, Sha-Ron Nicely, Brittany Moon Rucker, Bryan Nicely, Vashon Gibson, Vonquez Nicely, Kimbreyata Blassingame, Victor Lebron Nicely, Jr., Veon Nicely.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Bardel Summerour will officiate. Interment will follow in Bean Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 29, 2026, at Barrett Funeral Home.
