Troy W. York

Troy W. York age 65, of Sautee Nacoochee passed away Saturday June 17, 2017.   Mr. York was born in Hiawassee the son of the late Willard Newt and Ellene Adams York. He was a member of Nacoochee Presbyterian Church.   Survivors include his wife, Brenda York, Sautee Nacoochee; sons and daughters-in-law, James A. and Sara York, Flowery Branch, and Joshua C. York and Emilie Bright, Commerce; sisters- Margie O’Malley, Sautee Nacoochee; Dixie Cook, Tucker; grandchildren- Autumn, Preston, Jacob, Kaleb, Levi and Bronc and Madison; nieces- Vanessa O’Malley, Pine Top, AZ., and Megan Dixon, Locust Grove; nephew, Justin Cook, Cumming; brother-in-law and sister, Robert and Diane Bower, Alto; and sister-in-laws- Cathy Cannady, April Cannady-Donna Walker, all of Alto.   Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Tuesday June 20, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Joy White Pruett will officiate.   The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Nacoochee Presbyterian Church, P.O.
