Van D. Chastain

Mr. Van D. Chastain, age 56 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Chastain was born October 14, 1953 in Towns County to the late Robert and Hazel Love Alexander Chastain. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Chastain, Nelson Chastain, sisters, Jeanette Parker, Marcelle Wesson, and Vanessa Stewart. Survivors include his sisters, Lucille Helton, Mt. Airy; Malissa Helton, Cleveland; Bonnie Broner, Cornelia; brother, Tony Chastain, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
