Vanessa Dyer

Vanessa Dell Dyer, age 55 of Gainesville, went to be with the Lord from a long term illness. Ms. Dyer was born August 22, 1959 in Hamilton, WV to John Leonard Dyer and the late Jerrie Dean (Butts) Goolsby. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Blairsville. Vanessa was a loving daughter, mother, aunt, sister and nana. She was the 2nd of 8 children. She was preceded in death by her brother David Davenport, sisters Judy Dyer, Georgian Goolsby and one nephew. Survivors include her daughter, Amber Adkins; son, Farron Prince; father, John Leonard Dyer; sisters, Janie Dyer, Mechelle Durrence; brothers, Chris Goolsby, Jerry Goolsby; 2 grandchildren, 7 nieces and 3 nephews. No services are planned. Ms. Dyer will be cremated and her ashes will be interred next to her mother at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Blairsville, GA.
