Vanessa Carol Chastain Stewart

Ms. Vanessa Carol Stewart, age 53 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Ms. Stewart was born August 11, 1956 in Young Harris to the late Robert and Hazel Alexander Chastain. She was employed by Tencate as a Lab Tech. Ms. Stewart was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy Chastain and Nelson Chastain, sisters, Jeanette Parker and Marcelle Wesson. Survivors include her daughters, Latisha Stewart, Jefferson; Sabrina Stewart, Clarkesville; grandchildren, Kristen Brook Wade, Brett Devin Wade and Heather Ashlyn Vaughan, all of Jefferson; Stuart Harrison, Clarkesville; sisters, Lucille Helton, Mt. Airy; Malissa Helton, Cleveland; Bonnie Broner, Cornelia; brothers, Van Chastain and Tony Chastain, both of Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 1, 2010 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
