Velma Fain

Velma Odell Fain, age 81 of Dahlonega, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at Halcyon House. Ms. Fain was born July 23, 1932 in Cleveland, Georgia to the late Hubert and Nellie Nix Winkler. She was a registered nurse for Mountain Home Health and a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Ms. Fain was preceded in death by her husbands, Hoyt Robinson and Allen Fain; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Brenda Robinson; and brother, Guy Winkler. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ralph Hogan, of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Becky Robinson, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Brian and Heather Robinson, Michael and Kim Robinson, Casey and Alicia Robinson, Megan Caudell, Danny and Tiffany Hogan, Kimberley Demers; great-grandchildren, Carter Robinson, Kendall Robinson, Peyton Robinson, Jeb Robinson, Mia Robinson, Luke Caudell, Cameron Robinson, Agnes Hogan, Flannery Hogan. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday October 3, 2013 at Town Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Casey Robinson, Rev. Cotton Harris, and Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
