Velvie Caudell

Velvie Idell Caudell, age 73, of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Mrs. Caudell was born on July 6, 1952, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Leroy Clark, Sr. and Flora Lee Browner Clark. She worked as an LPN at Gateway Health and Rehab as well as Friendship Health and Rehab. Survivors include her siblings, Evelyn Flanagan (Joe), Lee Roy Clark (Kay), and Harrison Clark (JoAnn); several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Gateway Memory Park. The Rev. Michael McIntyre will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service.
